I have been on a personal journey over the past few years and come to experience that life changing personal encounters with the Our Father, His Son Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are available to us. As I look back at my life, I see a road traveled full of amazing moments with God, Him breaking into my life at key times, creating divine moments, something like Superman coming to my rescue in times of need. Even though this has been so true for me, I am realizing, like Lois Lane, I need more of my Superman Jesus, I want to know His true identity, have a deep, one relationship with Him. This desire goes so far beyond the need to be rescued from time to time. Hence my quest for more!
As I begin to go deeper, the Spirit has been guiding me to scriptures which reveal the old paths leading to His presence, the first spiritual landmark on this path is Hebrews 10:19-22;
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to ENTER the HOLIEST by the BLOOD of JESUS, by a NEW and LIVING way which HE consecrated for us, THROUGH THE VEIL, that is His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us DRAW NEAR with a true heart IN FULL ASSURANCE of Faith….”
Going THROUGH THE VEIL was the first place The Spirit of Love so wonderfully led me to find encounters with Him. The Most Holy Place is a place filled with intense presence, one which melts away this natural low life into un-importance. Its a place were dead things come alive, were the sense of eternity so exists, that death no longer looms in the mind or heart, where the heart says, “I am truly safe”. This sense of God’s Holy presence, keenly makes us aware of our acceptance as HIS children, that His Fatherly covering is always hovering over us. You begin to realize that the pursuit of happiness, pleasure, work, are our frail human attempts to sustain our own life in this fallen world, looking to God only for the occasional divine moments. This self-reliant existence gets swallowed up as we encounter HIM, HIS PRESENCE, and become absorbed into His very divine life. This Eternal Life, NOW MADE KNOWN and available by the BLOOD OF JESUS, makes a way THROUGH THE VEIL for us, so we can go un-inhibited into the MOST HOLY PLACE, saying to ourselves “This is my home, God is my Daddy, I belong here”.
Losing myself in Jesus, enables me to find my true self (identity) in Christ as a CHILD OF GOD. What I mean is, by the Blood of Jesus, a WAY has been made for me to enter this MOST HOLY PLACE were my FATHER is, where His actual presence resides, and can be experienced. This place, THIS MOST HOLY PLACE, only Jesus can take us to, for no one can come to the Father except through Jesus. Prior to Jesus making the WAY, I was hopelessly doomed to an existence in the outer court (the world), a self-absorbed existence which requires self reliance to sustain life. But this new and living way JESUS, (not ME), has consecrated for ME, THROUGH THE VEIL, that is HIS FLESH, allowing me, AT WILL, to go in and out of my Fathers divine presence, praise God! The veil of separation, of sin, fear, evil, un-righteousness, condemnation, unworthiness, Etc. has been taken away, absorbed by Jesus flesh, and washed away by His Blood. The veil was wrenched from top to bottom, allowing ME AND YOU to enter into His ( Our Dads) presence. What a joyous family reunion. I think of the prodigal son.
Holy Father, we offer you the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son our Lord Jesus Christ, for our sins and the sins of the whole world
